Thomas Samuels served as Partner-in-Charge for the pursuit and development of Phase 1 of this 1.2 million SF research, office and residential public/private partnership with the City of Scottsdale, AZ and Arizona State University. The development's focus was on technology transfer in a 24 x 7 urban environment.

IMD Gateway Offices

Thomas Samuels served as the Partner in Charge for the successful competition/pursuit  and overall design and first phase of this 1.2 million SF mixed use development in the Illinois Medical District (IMD). The project consisted of retail, apartments, hotel, and offices and laboratories serving the IMD, patients, people doing business with the IMD and its surrounding hospitals, and the community.

IRS Detroit Office & Computing Center

Thomas Samuels served as Partner-in-Charge for the successful pursuit and development of this state-of-the-art $175 million, 900,000 SF mixed use office, computing center, training center and independent energy center in downtown Detroit. The project was delivered to the US GSA on a build-to-suit for lease basis.

Reinventing Cities State St. Competition
Chicago, Illinois

Thomas Samuels Enterprises competed for a 572,000 SF mixed-use re-development project in Chicago IL. The project involved demolition of a City owned garage, revitalizing Pritzker Park, and creating an anchor for the State Street educational corridor. TSE led the development project and organized a team of architects and engineers, marketing professionals, and a financing team. The project included anchor retail, service retail, residential, office, and community spaces.
